
 | This liturgical collection and website have been designed to assist educators in using audiovisual material for their own teaching and research. For the first time in digital format, experience the interplay of worship, dance and culture in actual worship filmed on location in diverse communities: East and West Africa; the islands of the South Pacific; Seville and Barcelona, Spain; San Antonio, Texas and Santa Fe, New Mexico. All employ the rich forms of indigenous music and dance.
Thomas A. Kane, a Paulist priest, is an internationally known ritual maker and videographer. His research interests are in the area of arts. ritual and culture.
Dr. Kane studies contemporary celebration and has written and lectured on liturgy, dance and creativity in the United States and abroad. He teaches preaching, liturgy and the arts at Weston Jesuit School of Theology, an international theological center in Cambridge, MA. |  |
